Timing of evening meal for diabetics

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)
I recently came across an American book about managing diabetes (a Readers' Digest guide) that recommended (among other things)  eating your last main meal of the day at least four hours before going to bed.  The thinking being that you would then have time to digest your food and use some of the nutrients before your body shuts down for the night.  Andrew's been trying this for about 5 weeks now and it seems to be having a good effect on his morning blood glucose readings.  Any comments from any one else?
